Foncebadón

Foncebadón is a small mountain village located near Cruz de Ferro. Once nearly abandoned, it has experienced a revival thanks to the Camino Francés. The village sits at a high elevation and carries a strong, almost mystical atmosphere, especially in the early morning or late evening when mist often surrounds it.

Foncebadón is closely tied to the mountain section of the Camino.
